categories, published posts

  Could anyone tell me how to put already published posts into categories? I have clicked on edit, but can’t see any way of then adding the post into a category.thanks .

  When you’ve opened the post in the editor, just click on the additional categories the same way you do when you create a post. Save and that should be that.
