Categories sidebar display issues

  As of this morning, our categories tab (front page, side bar), is not displaying fully. The subcategories within the categories are no longer showing. They do show up within the dashboard. Please help?

  Go to Appearance > Widgets, open the Categories widget you’ve added to the sidebar, make sure “Show hierarchy” is selected.

  Thanks, subcategories are working again. However, the box on the front page is not fully visible yet. It does come up when clicking on it, but, if it was working correctly, would display, showing the drop down option. Any ideas?

  That’s an issue in many themes: the box adopts the width required to display all the category names in full, so it may become wider than the sidebar. You can’t do anything about it other than rename your “restaurants-offering-gluten-free” category into something shorter.
