Categories suddenly not working

  Hi, I have the Oxygen theme.
  When I first started my blog I set up my categories along the top of the page sort of like a page setup. Just recently, I wanted to add a new category and it didn’t work, even when several posts are categorised under it. I also tried to rename a category and it deleted and now it looks stupid and not how I want it and I’m scared I won’t be able to fix it. Please help :(

  What is this category? How did you try to rename it? What do you mean by “it deleted”?

  I figured it out. I had to go into menu and manually add the new categories to the menu and reorder them
