Categories Visibility
-
I would like the categories to appear on the right side for easy scrolling and navigation through them … Please help me make them visible (there or anywhere on the site). Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Big Brother supports one column of widgets alongside your content. Add the Category widget or Category cloud widget by going to Appearance → Widgets.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/Also note that widgets have “visibility” settings so we can select which pages they display on. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility

Thanks so much for your help!
Do you know if there is a way to move the widget to the top of my site (perhaps on the right-hand side) so that someone can access it immediately? It’s currently at the very bottom and feels somewhat useless there (most people won’t see it if only reading the current post and wouldn’t know to scroll to the very bottom).
Thank you!

You can select the position that any and all widgets are displayed in here > Appearance > Widgets

This is where I chose the widget; I didn’t see an option anywhere to move the widget location which is why I asked — please specify where to do so. Thanks!

I’m sorry but what I see is a full page display blog here http://naropatlc.com/That means there cannot be bar sidebar displayed. You choose one or the other. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/big-brother/

Hi there,
It looks like you added some Custom CSS that is causing your sidebar to move to the bottom. It was specifically this:
#content .primary { margin: 0 auto; float: none; }If you remove that your Categories widget will move up as seen in the theme’s support guide.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

I believe this code was given to me so that the text box on each page (with the white background) was centered rather than left-aligned as was the original design for this theme. If I delete this theme I believe it will be left-aligned again. Is there any way to incorporate both the central-alignment and the widget move in the CSS code? Thank you!

The problem with changing the layout of the page is that it can break other things like it did with the sidebar in addition to mobile and tablet displays.
Can you post this question in the CSS Customization forum? We have great staff and volunteers who may be able to find a way around this:

I’m sorry I couldn’t be off more help.
