Categories widget does not work – no slide bar

Category widget does not have a slide bar to allow me to access all categories when posting. I am at the point of real frustration because I have written three times with no response, and I paid for this design which is not working.

Note: Show as dropdown – Check this box to display the categories in a drop down menu rather than as a list. This is handy if you want to save space or have a lot of categories.

and I paid for this design which is not working
Structure is a free theme and what you paid for was a custom design upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/ If you think the CSS editing you have done has created this issue ie. the inability of the Categories widget to operate the way it is designed to operate then this thread can be moved to the CSS Forum for you.

Are you having trouble with the Categories Widget on your blog or with the Categories module when you create and edit posts on your blog? (Based on your previous forums post it sounds like the issue is with the categories module, but I just want to be sure we’re talking about the same thing.)
Also, can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service such as Snaggy. That will help me understand what’s happening for you. Thanks!
