Categories Widget not displaying all categories in “Drop Down” mode
-
I am helping a friend with his site: http://oztorah.wordpress.com and for some reason the Categories widget doesn’t work when it’s set in “drop down” mode, but works fine otherwise.
When displayed as a “drop down” it only shows a few of the categories, but the other categories are there and work fine (and display fine when not in “drop down” mode).
For example:
http://oztorah.wordpress.com/category/articles/freemasonry/
Displays fine, but another category such as this one does not appear in the drop-down menu:
http://oztorah.wordpress.com/category/articles/aboriginal/
I’m no expert, but I have a hunch that the categories drop-down widget uses a table in the underlying database which may not have populated correctly when I imported all the articles.
Would be interested in any advice on how to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
ambanmba

ambanmba,
I cant even find your post page in your top tabs
Did you import from a self hosted blog to wordpress.com?
If so you may want to contact support to resolve the issue with categories.

I contacted support directly and they fixed it in the back-end. I’m pretty pleased with how quickly they resolved this issue, thanks!
