categories widgets

  I have added 2 category widgets. But all my new posts appear in all 2 of the categories. How do I ensure the posts appear in the correct category?
  eg new post name abc to appear only in Skincare category.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Posts will appear only in categories you have placed them into. What’s the blog in question? https://thecosmeticsroom.wordpress.com/ doesn’t appear to have any posts.

  i deleted all the posts earlier on..but i’ve added in 1 new post, seruzad products and it’s seen in my skincare and fragrances categories widgets now..

  i shld have eg seruzad products, loreal products under the skincare category.
  And eg calvin kelin, DKNY under the fragrances category..how do i do that?

  As you’ve seen, the Categories widget displays all your categories, so there’s no point in adding it more than once. What you need to do is file your posts under (parent) categories and child categories.
