Categories Won’t Load Into the List Without a Long Delay

Hi: My blog is: http://sparkle333.wordpress.com/ I am still having some problems with the New Dashboard, and I wondered if someone could take a look for me? My brower is IE6, and I’m using Windows Professional 2000
1. When I type my categories in the first box, it takes forever for it to reach the list below. (It seems to just freeze for awhile and hang up. Then suddenly (much later) the category shows in the list I’m making.
2. I’m still having problems editing my posts without a long delay. The page freezes. I can go from my post on the blog to the editor, but then the page freezes for quite awhile before it allows me to make changes. I have to load the page where the post is in the editor, diminish it, and do something else. Finally when I go back, it lets me scroll for changes.
3. I am able to enter the YouTube video complete URL now through the box provided, but it still goes to the top of my post. I have had to copy and paste, to get it where I want it. (At the end of the post.) Is there a fix for this, or is it the way it has to be now?
I’m sure there is more, but I can’t think of it at the moment. Thanks to all the forum volunteers who have done such a great job of dealing with frustrated bloggers. We appreciate all your help! :) -
You should consider Firefox. That said, it looks to me as if the new Dashboard puts a lot of strain on the old browser with all it’s dynamic goodness.
As for your third point, this looks like an IE-specific bug to me. On my Browser Camino (a heavily adapted Firefox) the Video drops where it should. That is where I’m typing.

I wonder if it might be RAM-related. You wouldn’t happen to know how much RAM you’ve got in your machine? I know I get interminable hangs all the time, and I’m running on128 megs. Nobody laugh.
