Categorising posts in their category and opening the post in their own page

  Hi there

  I’m new to this theme and I need some help on this:

  How do I get my posts to be in its own category?

  And also how to make a page with the list of posts involving in that category and then when you click on a post, it takes you to a different page of the post you want to read.

  Example:- I have my “Entering the Blogging World” post. I want it to go in the menu on “Lifestyle” category. In that page it will have its own page with list of post but making post appear written as short preview to make the viewers to click on the post they want to read to take them onto the page of that post.

  I hope it makes sense, if not, let me know please :)

  Hey there,

  You can group alike posts and set them to display on a specific page with the use of Category Pages. For more information on this please review the following documentation: https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/.

  As for displaying a list of the posts this can be achieved with the use of the Display Posts shortcode or as an alternative the use of the Categories widget if your theme has an available sidebar on the chosen page.
