Categorize multiple posts at one time

  I would like to categorize all of my posts (most of which are uncategorized). Is there a way to change the category on multiple posts at the same time, or do I have to pull up and edit every post once I have the category list determined? My current tagging structure would help me to determine category – some of the tags will also become categories in the vision I have for the new structure.
