    My blog’s always uncategorized whereas I want it to feature in the life category…How do I go about it..

    I did change the settings but in vain

    Can anyone tell me how do go about step by step

    my email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Nobody emails answers; you have to check back to the forum. and when you post your email, spammers will catch it.

    Where did you change the settings? You have to categorize each post on its own, and you change the default category on Dashboard –> Options –> Writing and you have to click Update Options once you’re done.

    Categories don’t apply to blogs: only to posts.

    And the changes are never retroactive. If you’re hoping to do that one click and have all your old posts re-categorized, you’re out of luck. It only works going forwards. To change the categories on old posts, you have to go in and Edit each one individually.
