  Hi,

  I´d like to change the url of my categories from:

  concienciados.es/category/biologia

  to

  concienciados.es/biologia

  That is, to delete the word ‘category’, but I haven´t found a way to do it in wordpress.COM. Please, can you help?

  Hi there!

  There isn’t a way to remove ‘category’ from the URL you gave here at WordPress.com.

  You could, however, create a page entitled ‘Biologia’ and use the Display Posts shortcode within that page to pull in posts with a specified category. Here’s an example of the shortcode which would pull in posts with the ‘Biologia’ category assigned to them:

  [display-posts category="biologia" include_excerpt="true" image_size="thumbnail" wrapper="div"]

  Using this approach will give you a URL of concienciados.es/biologia, with posts in a certain category being pulled in. This wouldn’t, however, stop concienciados.es/category/biologia from existing.
