I have an oxygen theme in my word press. Can I create a 2nd sub-category under the 1st sub-category which originally has a main category? For example, “South Central Europe” is a main category, under this main category, I know that I can create the 1st sub-category e.g. called “Italy”. My question is that can I create the 2nd sub-category e.g. called “Milan” under the 1st sub-category “Italy” which originally is under the main category “South Central Europe”?

    thanks

    Hi there,
You mean in your custom menu, right? You can nest subcategories in your menu by going to your menu settings and dragging each category a little bit more to your right to create a new level of category. I’m not sure if this is what you were asking, hope this is helpful.

    Hi,

Thanks for your response. It’s kind of related to my custom menu. But the result that I want is that once I click on a link of “Central Europe” (main category) on my menu section, it links to a page that contains links of sub-categories e.g. “Italy”, “Austria”, “Poland”, etc. Then, when I click on “Italy”, it links to a page that contains links of another sub-categories e.g. “Milan”, “Rome”, etc. When I click on “Milan”, it will link to my story of Milan and so on. Does my oxygen theme allow me to do so?

    Hi,

I followed your suggestions and created nest subcategories under Southern Europe in the menu bar. Look likes I can only create a page that contains links of sub-categories e.g. “Italy”, “Austria”, etc. but not a page that contains links of Italian cities once I click on “Italy”. Am I correct?

    Hi there,
I’ve seen you’ve created a “Southern europe” menu that has a “Italy” submenu, and when you hover over it, it displays “Milan” and “Rome”
You could now create links to your pages in your “Italy” page by typing in your page regular links to Milan, Rome, etc. Is this what you want to achieve?
For inserting links, follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/links/

I was hoping the links with pictures of “Milan” and “Rome” (you saw) could be automatically created and displayed on a page once I click on the link in my “Italy” page after creating the nest subcategories under Southern Europe.

Anyway, thanks for your great help. Have a nice day!
