  i want to edit a category name and delete a category

  Hi there!

  To create a new category, head to My Site → Settings → Writing. There, you will see an option to managed categories. Select it, and click on Add New Category.

  You can also create sub-categories. To do so, click on Add New Category and in the window that pops up, select the category that you’d like to have as the parent category.

  Hi journaldejenny. To edit and delete a category.
  Go to My Site > Settings > Writing, click on Categories > select the category you would like to edit, do the required change and click update.
  You can select the 3 dots on the right to delete the category of choice, you will also notice that you can edit from that 3 dot drop down menu. ☺
