I cannot think of any other heading but I need some help, I know that the themes I use have been retired, and I wanted to start a new blog and NOTHING fits – words no longer matter, just photos. WP sent me an e-mail the other day to tell me that somebody thought that what I had written was ‘awesome’ and to check out their blog. I did. ONLY PHOTOS! NO WORDS! Nothing! I wanted to start a new blog on a different topic and as money has been tight the past few months – you know, that Covid thing has had its disadvantages – so was looking for a free theme. It seems that these are being gradually phased out – a year ago there were many, this year I think WP showed me five! I want to create a blog, not a Phlog! I could use Instagram or Pinterest for that :) ! are there any themes that allow long form writing? I was going to start one as The Armchair Traveller – places I had been to, with anecdotes and reminiscences, and places I would like to see Post-Covid. Suggestions will be welcome :) !

Thank you! I was about to give up :) WP needs to add back more choices to what they offer when trying to create a new blog. I have boomarked this and will work on it later today. If there were a “Like” button, I would click it :)
