    I have my posts organized by Category in order to access certain posts from the menu; however, the ghastly “category archive” shows up on all of my subpages. Aside from pushing people to spring for an upgrade, why is this the way it works, and is there a fix?

    On most themes, category and other archive pages have a relevant heading, to make it clear to visitors what they’re viewing (posts filed under a certain category, or published a certain month, or written by a certain author, etc).
    You’re probably confused as to how your blog and your menu can or should work. What would you like your homepage to display, your posts or a static intro page? If you don’t want it to display your posts, do you want a link to all your posts in the menu or only links to posts by category?
