Category archive, removing 'Archive for:' in sidebar

  On category archive page, I have successfully removed the title ‘category archive’ from the lefthand sidebar, so now I am left with ‘Archive for: >category name<, but now I want to remove the ‘Archive for:’ to just leave the name. I have CSS editor, and I have found that I can change the size/font of this text by using the line >.category .single-description<., but I can’t find how to separate out the ‘archive for:’ bit from the rest. Help, please! (theme: the columnist, blog: simonhryder.wordpress.com) Thanks. Simon

  Hi Simon,

  This CSS should do it for you:

  .category .single-description {
  visibility: hidden;
  }
  
  .category .single-description span {
  visibility: visible;
  }
