  Hi WordPress,

  When I click on one of the menu items on my blog I see what looks like an inactive link titled “Category Archives: name of menu item.”

  What is this and how can I get rid of it?

  Without the URL stating with http:// for the specific page on the exact blog in question we cannot help you. Please post it so we can assist you.

  That menu item is a link to a post category. So when you click on it you see the posts that are filed under that category. “Category Archives: ~~~” is not a link, it’s just the title of that category page. Category page titles are built into the theme: you can’t remove them, except if you buy the Custom Design upgrade.

  I do not see “Category Archives: name of menu item.” I see a blog link and on the blog I do not see a “Category Archives: name of menu item.”
