Category automatically added?

    This morning I got a comment on one of my posts. I approved it and added the author’s blog to my blogroll. Then I noticed in my categories list a new catergory was there named 1256. I did not add this category. Any ideas on how it got there? Does this mean someone has hacked into my account?

    Yes. You deleted the default category and failed to replace it with another so the software is supplying this number in it’s place. As soon as you do assign a default category the number one with disappear.
