Category Blocks Not Showing Properly on Published Coffee Menu Page
-
Hi everyone,
I’m building a coffee menu site on WordPress.com 7 Brew Coffee Menu (https://7brewcoffemenu.com/) and I’ve run into a problem. I created multiple categories and subcategories for drinks using the block editor, and everything looks fine while editing. However, once the page is published, some categories either don’t appear or the layout breaks.
Things I’ve tried so far:
- Cleared browser cache and cookies
- Disabled browser extensions
- Tested in multiple browsers
- Recreated the blocks from scratch
I want the menu to display correctly so visitors can easily find drinks and prices. Has anyone experienced this with category blocks on large menu pages? Any advice on blocks, layout settings, or best practices would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!

It looks like many people are struggling with WordPress menus not displaying correctly on published pages, even when everything shows fine in the editor — which can really frustrate readers trying to find content. One thing that helps keep visitors engaged (especially if your site has a local focus) is making your navigation super clear and linking to useful local resources. For example, if you’re showcasing a coffee menu on your site, adding a “Coffee Near Me” link that points to a curated list of nearby coffee spots (like https://7brewcoffemenu.com/7-brew-coffee-near-me/) can help users quickly find what they’re looking for and improve overall site usability.
