Category Cloud same size

I used the widget category cloud and set min font size to 50% and max font size to 500%. I also set exclude “category”. However, when I published it, the category cloud does not work. They are all of the same size even though there are different number of posts. Also, “misc” category still appear.
Anyone knows how I can resolve this?

Hi there,
I tested the category cloud on my test blog and am having the same issue with the size of the category not changing due to amount of times it has been used. It appears to be a bug. I will report this to our theme team internally to see if we can get a fix. I’ll definitely keep you updated when I hear back from them. Thanks!

I have same issue, tag cloud doesn’t show any tags bigger than others (and I have 465 different tags). Any idea how this can be fixed?

I have received an update. Apparently it is a feature, not a bug. We apologize for the confusion, but both of our docs have been updated to clarify this moving forward:

(https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/category-cloud-widgetDepending on the theme you use, the design of the cloud widget may look/function different. In the instance of this theme, the font of the categories remain the same and you have to hover over each one of the categories to reveal the amount.
