category creation

  Hi, in my blog I’d like to create categories under which I can post content but not in the form of a journal. This is because I’d like to provide some content which is related in topic to my blog but is not a journal, it’s actually useful theoretical background…anybody know how that is done? Thanks.

  If you go to your Dashboard = > Manage = > Categories, you can add as many categories as would like or when you are in the “create post” area, there is an option on the right hand site to create your categories for each individual entry. That is one way to help categorize your entries.

  The other is using the “tags”. You can add tags to the bottom of each post (there is a box for tags below where you type the actual post) and that is another way to help lump all similar entries together using the tags. That should help users (and yourself) along ;)
