Category display

Helping my poet-dad to get his stuff up in a blog.
He’d like his categories to be called “Collections.” When the reader clicks on a collection (category), they get the following:
    “Category Archives: name of collection”
Is there a way to delete the words “Category Archives” after the reader clicks on a collection?
He’d like the list of posts to just say the name of the collection at the top.

I used twenty-ten, am trying to keep it simple
    Thanks for any suggestions!

I’m having the same issue. I’m using Influence as my theme.

There’s only one theme in which you can change those words, a couple of themes that don’t display them by default, and several themes in which category pages display no heading at all see here:

And please link to your blog when asking questions. Or, better, make your username link to your blog (Users > Personal Settings: scroll down to Account Details, paste blog URL in the Website field, click Save Changes).
