Category Dissapeared!

    Hi,
    I was just recently chaging the name of some of the categories I have and they all worked fine except one. It kept saying the category was unchanged. I tryed again and it still didn’t work so I gave it one more shot, I wanted to change the category from ‘Nine’ to ‘Nine Network’ so I thought if Nine Network wouldnt work I would just try Nine Net, however it didn’t work and it deleted the whole category which had 98 posts attatched to it. On the actual blog it says that they are in the category ‘Nine Net’, however if you click on the category tag it says error, and it does not appear on the side anyway. Is there a way to fix this as I really do not want to go through 98 posts and make a new category?

    Maybe what happened is that you changed the category name but that wordpress is set up so you cannot change the category slug https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=17126&page&replies=7#post-129475
