category dont work

  For example when i go into category in the admin painel it have the about as main.. when i create a new one it doesnt appear in the category of the index :s

  But if i do a new post it appears to put on it… how to fix this?

  Make sure you link a post to the new category. Then you will see the category. The category needs to have a post linked to it, before it will show up.

  You are correct but we must ask for the blog link first as the answers that apply to wordpress.com do not always apply to wordpress.org. In this case we have yet to determine what the blog URL is and excatly what the member who posted this means.
