I have spent all day trying to set this up. I want to be able to post a blog post and it appear in the category at the top. I have re made my new menu and posted in the category but it just isn’t appearing.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I notice that your category of “motherhood” is nested as a child category under the “uncategorized” category. If you move the “motherhood” out as a parent category and get rid of “uncategorized” (if you are not using it) That might help it show up under the category link.

    Hi @abitofmemrsd,

I’d love to help you solve this issue you’ve been working to set up. I’m a little unclear as to what you want to happen. If you just want the categories to show on the header, your Travel link at the top of the page should work now as you want in your finished version. Is it doing so?

One alternative I’m reading out of your question is that you want the individual posts with the category to propagate as a menu item that drops down under the menu. So, for example, when I hover over “Travel” on the menu, one option nested in that menu says “Travel Plans” because that’s a blog post with that category. Is this what you want?

    Best,
    Jesse
