Category is not showing up in Category Widget or Category Cloud Widget

  Hi, I’m new to the world of blogging and trying to tackle an issue with a widget.
  I have created categories for my posts and posted two dummy posts with categories ticked, but the categories are not listed in the Category Widget nor the Category Cloud Widget.
  I am using Blogum theme which came with the Category Widget. I switched to trying out the Category Cloud Widget, and both the Category Cloud Widget and Category Widget do not show the categories from the two posts that I have posted.

  Help?…

  Strange. I just switched my test blog to blogum and the categories show up in the category and category cloud widget just fine.

  I’ll tag this for staff attention since I can’t see any reason the categories should not show up.

  I am having the same problem. I want to add a new category to the category cloud widget and can’t figure out how to get it done. Any help would be much appreciated.
