"Category" label in Cubic theme

  I have divided my blog posts into two categories so users can find one group listed on one page and the other group listed on the other page. My question is this: At the top of each page, there is a label which not only names the category, but says “Category:…” (Example: “Category:PV”). Is there a way I can take this label off? The contents of each category will speak for themselves, and I’m afraid the label “Category” will confuse my users.

  Hi rmillerds! I took a look at how this could be done with a little CSS. Are you comfortable with giving this a try with the ‘customize – additional CSS’ feature? Here’s the code to insert:

  .category .page-header h1 { display: none; }

  If that doesn’t solve the issue, I’d recommend posting this question in your theme’s dedicated forum here:

  Apologies to all for posting in the wrong place. As you can see, I’m a member in both locations (if I weren’t, I wouldn’t have been able to post at all!)–but I see my error with respect to this particular WordPress application. I’ll know better next time.

  No worries! To remove the “Category” heading in Cubic, add this to your custom CSS:

  .category .page-header {
    display: none;
  }

  This is the same no matter where your site is hosted.
