category labels on images

  My categories show up in text on top of my images. How do I stop that?

  Hi Carol,

  Are you talking about on your main page, where the category shows on top of the image for your posts? I looked around and didn’t see the category showing anywhere else.

  If that’s where you’re talking about, then you can indeed remove that via CSS. If you add the following snippet of CSS to your CSS stylesheet in your Customizer (in your Dashboard go to Appearance >> Customizer >> CSS), then enter this:

  .entry-thumbnail-category {
  	visibility: hidden;
  }
