Category Link Color

  Hey guys, I need some help with the the codes. I’m kinda new to this, so if you could help me that would be great.

  I would like to know how can I change the color of the category link, you know the ones that usually stay under the post. But I would like that each category had its own color. So for example category 1 in blue text, category 2 in red and son on. I’m using the twentyeleven theme.

  Can’t be done at wordpress.COM. Individual category links would each have to have a unique ID or class assigned to them in the theme PHP script files and even then it would require a good bit of PHP scripting to do it.

  You could probably “hack” a self-hosted installation to do that if you were good enough with PHP scripting.

  I know that it can’t be done in wordpress.com but the blog in question it’s hosted in another server it’s not the one linked to my username. That one it’s like a copy of the “real” one. The categories have the id’s like:

  ?cat=1 and so on

  so is there any way that I can change the link color of the categories under the post, each one with its own color? I’m a little bit familiar with html and css, but not with php, is there anyway to do it just using css? Or I have to use the php files?

  If the “blog in question” is nosted in another server, you’re in the wrong forum and need to ask at the WordPress.org forums at http://wordpress.org/support , like the supportbot says above.
