Category links are not working for my shop
-
I have set up multiple product categories linked to certain products, there are no sub-categories as yet so its very simple. The page does not pan down when I click on a category so the user can’t see the category results when they click, it just remains there.
Expected:
When clicking on the category link at the ‘main shop’ the page is meant to auto scroll/pan down below the category section to the ‘results’ for that relevant category.Actual result:
After clicking on any category – the url changes i.e. product-category/mushrooms/ and the page appears to reload but it remains on the main shop categories section, it does not pan down to the results. The results are displayed beneath the categories – so they are coming up – but the page just isn’t panning down to them after clicking the category link.I don’t see any errors after clicking on the categories itself but this error shows on the main shop before I’ve done anything:
(function($){if(!window.wpNotesArgs){console.warn(‘Missing data from PHP (wpNotesArgs).’)}
* I’ve updated all my plugins
* I’ve reset the permalinks
* I’ve deleted the categories and re-added themI’m not a programmer, I try to research and troubleshoot as much as possible on my own but I’m at my wits end now.

Hi there,
http://mosspot.co.za/ appears to use the WordPress software and is hosted with another host than WordPress.com. In order to get help with your website, we do suggest contacting either your host’s own customer support, or alternatively the community forums of WordPress.org:
To clarify, there are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com. For reference, you can learn more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
https://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/That said, it sounds like there’s something up with your theme considering that PHP error you mentioned – it might be worth checking in with your theme support too, possibly as a first step. It also kind of sounds like your menu links for your product categories may be missing some kind of “page jump/anchor” function. We do have some general info about those on this page, although we don’t have any way to know whether your theme is meant to set them up automatically for you:
