Category links in PressRow template

I searched for answers to this question, so I apologize if it’s already been addressed elsewhwere.

    My blog: theoutpost.wordpress.com

I’m using the PressRow template, which I love, except for one oddity. The only place in an individual post, as far as I can tell, where the categories I selected are listed are at the bottom of the post. However, clicking on a category takes you to a page listing other WordPress blog postings with the same category.

I would expect that it would take you to a page with other postings on my blog, with maybe a link that says “view posts from other blogs tagged x.”

Is this possible? Or is that part of “free”?

That’s not a Pressrow peculiarity; it’s all WP.com blogs except private ones. When you use the category widget in the sidebar, THOSE links are just local, to your own blog. Each post, however, links out to the global category page. It is counterintuitive in the extreme, but it gives you a massive SEO boost so most people learn to live with it.

Thanks. I was afraid that was the case.
