Category links in top page menu bar

  Hello,
  I read about this subject over and over again and i just can’t seem to understand what i need to do. I am new to this and since English is not my first language i need someone to explain to me easy and slowly.
  I want to move the category links to the top page menu bar, near home page and I want them to function as a ‘Page’ that when clicked on, automatically shows all posts from one category.
  Please help me.
