    I was told to ‘categorize your website. Right now, your website is miscellaneous or unknown, so it is considered unsafe. Unfortunately you’ll need to figure out how to categorize it. Probably change it to ‘sports’ or ‘recreation and hobbies’ category something like that.’

    How do I categorize my website?

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    I did a quick Google search and found an article that will cover Categories and how to set them up.

    As far as what to choose, you would just need to set something related to the topic of your posts. You could use something like “fishing” or “fly fishing” – it’s all up to you!

    Hey, thanks for your help! I followed the procedures in that article you sent. No luck. :( Wondering if it has something to do with pages vs. blog posts. Anyway, I’m giving up – this is becoming way too much of a hassle. I appreciate the response.
