Category named “1” keeps creating itself!

  ‘ello!

  In my blog (http://vbytes.wordpress.com), it would seem that a category naming itself “1” keeps on creating itself over and over, and then defaulting each post to be posted under it!
  I delete the category, then it seemingly just appears again when I go to add a new post!

  Any ideas?

  @Jack: Just so that you know, that happens when you have deleted the original default category without setting another one in its place (in Settings>Writing).

  @panaghiotisadam: thanks dude, i had the same problem… after setting default category in ‘settings > writing’, it does not create category called ‘1’ for new posts if not specified.
