Category, new posts, icons – Please help.

Would you please have a quick look at this site: http://daohieu.wordpress.com/
Then please tell me how to: (1) New posts appear only in “Category” (on the right hand side column) not in “Home page”. If we want to read, we click the link. (2) How to put a small orange icon in front of every link (this icon looks like a stack of books).

1) not possible if your Home Page is the blog, rather than a static page. Posts ALWAYS appear in the blog.
2) Do you mean on your links widget? Not possible without a knowledge of CSS and the paid CSS upgrade. Maybe not even possible then. If you just mean regular hyperlinks in the content of the blog, just upload it to your media library and insert it in front of each link manually. -

– By the way, in new post, can we color the text. I see bold, italic, underline etc.. but I do not see Font Color, as in Microsoft Word.

WordPress is very powerful – drives many company sites –
yes font colors can be changed – same as M/S Word – see the drop down box the has the big “A” on it – second line of the Post / Page editor
