Category Not Showing

For some reason, one of my categories won’t show. I made one called Fanfiction Writing, and it doesn’t appear, yet the one called Poetry does.

Categories will not show up until they have been assigned to at least one post. You only have one post and it is only assigned to “poetry.”

Hm, well that makes sense. So if I delete the post in poetry now, and add another, it’ll still show? Because, I didn’t put a post in there, I guess there is just one in there automatically.

The sidebars are cached and only update periodically (every hour or so). If the poetry category does not have a post assigned to it (you deleted the post) then “poetry will disappear from the sidebar in a little while most likely.
