category option not appear in dashboard

  Hi,

  I would like to edit my categories in my blog, however, on the dashboard, (according to your guide, there should be a category tab under posts tab) there is no such category tab. how do I go about this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  In the “new” dashboard you have to click on “My Site” “Blog posts” “Add” to see a list of your categories. Alas WordPress.com doesn’t appear to have enabled a function to DELETE categories there. To delete/edit categories head over to the “old” dashboard at:-

  Oh, thanks! Searched for this myself.

  Sad enough that WordPress isn’t able to sort out their own menue.
