On the category page, how can i remove the pre-written content ‘Category: soups’. Can i customize that?

You need to add custom CSS code to remove that :
h1.page-title { display: none; }Custom CSS can only be added if you are under premium or business plans. To know more about how to add custom CSS here is the support document for that:

I am just following up to let you know that there are some themes which do not display the categories and tags. You may be able to toggle that option off in the Customizer.
It looks like you may have found that option already via https://sejalsuvarna.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php
The “display tags” and “display categories” is not turned on for this site.
Get back to me here with any other questions.

Yes, I have turned off the display but when I group the post based on category to form 1 single page, I can see the heading in bold eg:”Category: Travel”
I wanted some way out of that.
I guess I will have to buy premium plan for that :(
