Category Page – different layout

Does the veggie template give a different way to show posts for a given category. The one that is proposed does not suit me very much. I would prefer something similar to the “blog” page (ie a page based on thumbnails, not entire posts). Is it possible to do something about it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You may want to try creating pages that will display custom categories using Blog Posts Block:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/
This will give you more control over the layout.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I do not know how to apply the instructions you proposed (i.e. https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/) to my page, because
1) I do not find the option to edit the page with categories in the admin panel
2) when I go to the selected page with posts in categories (e.g. https://znajdzkomedie.com/category/aktualnosci/) there is no “edit” button (which appears on other subpages when I am logged into wordpress)
I asked about it earlier, of course, via chat, but I was sent here. So I have the impression that I’m going back to the starting point. What to do?

They should definitely be able to help you with this, and we don’t exactly have the tools to be able to see what you’re experiencing here.
