category pages and categories in post

I have created category pages and I have assigned categories to my posts. However, the posts are not appearing in the category pages I’ve created. Where am I going wrong?

I wonder if having a static “Home” page is interfering with something. I can see all your posts at http://aroundtheworld9x.wordpress.com/posts/ and the individual categories seem fine, such as http://aroundtheworld9x.wordpress.com/category/denmark/ But the category page at http://aroundtheworld9x.wordpress.com/posts/denmark/ is blank.

As yt09 mentioned, you have links in your menu to pages like this:
http://aroundtheworld9x.wordpress.com/posts/denmark/
However, the correct link to your Denmark category page is this:
http://aroundtheworld9x.wordpress.com/category/denmark/
You’ll need to use that link to view the posts in your Denmark category. We have more about how to set up category pages here: Category Pages

Thank you both for your replies. YT09, yes I don’t understand why the category pages are blank. I’ve already assigned the categories to my post so technically they should appear on the category page right? Not sure how a static page could interfere. Any hints there?
Raincoaster, the categories I’m referring to are the drop down menus under Europe. I’ve created all of them from the categories that I’ve assigned to the posts. But the category pages are blank. Don’t know why :(

Oh and another thing, the posts that I’ve categorised all appear on the right hand side of the page. They’re the ones I want to pop under their respective category page that I’ve created as a drop down menu under Europe.
