  Hello:)
  How can I make it so a post only shows in its designated category and no other category?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  You can relegate your post to a single category. However, besides showing on the category page, your post will also display on your main blog page.

  Some folks opt to display their posts ONLY on category pages…and do not display a main blog page.

  As I mentioned, if you are using a main blog page, your post WILL display on it. There isn’t a way around this.

  If you want to assign ALL your posts to categories, you can create category pages and add those to your site. Then, you would removed the main blog page from your site.

  Here’s how category pages are created:

  Does that make more sense? If you want to do this, all your posts must be assigned to categories. Then, you’ll add those categories to your menu so your readers can find posts by category.
