  How come if I allow search engines to find my site the categories dont work?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The categories you assign to your posts are indexed by search engines. All categories and tags you assign to your posts when clicked on your blog will lead to the gwordpress.com global tag pages. If you place the categories widget in your sidebar then when the categories in that widget are clicked they will direct only to your own posts in your own blog.

  Thank you. And the automatically generated related posts that show up -can those be deleted too?

  Yes. Go to Appearance->Extras and it’s there.
