Category tab

  I am trying to set up a category tab in the sidebar widget on my page. I have a drop down menu there and when you click on a category from the drop down menu and it takes you to the info it doesn’t show the whole post and doesn’t show any of the pictures. I know there is a way to see all the info when you click on it as I am looking at someone else’s page that has what I want.

  Hi there,
  As your blog is private we have little to go on here. Would you please tell us which theme you are using? Once you do that we can provide more information.

  The bottom line is that all themes are coded differently. Some display full posts on Categories and on Archives pages and some do not — some display only titles and a couple display thumbnails.   I have changed to public now. I am using Greyzed.
  I hope she doesn’t mind but i love how http://tracilee.wordpress.com has the Been There Done That on her side bar and when you click on a State it takes you to that page and shows all information.

  Hello again,
  Aha now I see what you mean.That’s the normal function of the Categories widget when you open it and chose the option to “display as drop-down menu”.

  Adding Categories via Your Dashboard

  Note: until you have published a post in each Category and assigned a Category to it, there is no data that the Categories widget can display.

  I have items in the “Virginia” category. When I click on it- how can I make that show the whole post?

  Clicking any linked Title will display the whole post on it’s own page. Please read this again:
