Category / Tag / Taxonomy in menu problem
-
Hello all,
First of all, I use wordpress as a hobby and have not a lot of coding knowledge.
For a blog website with different categories, such as; Bars, Clubs, Festivals, Restaurants etc. within different provences and city’s I have a problem getting the content of the blog to be shown when the specific category has been chosen.
An example: A post about a Bar in Amsterdam does show in the category Bar.
Now I have tried to use ‘Amsterdam’ as a tag and custom custom taxonomy (city), but when I assign thig tag or taxonomy to the post it also shows up in the other categories (clubs, festivals etc). This may be due to the menu I use for this. I have setup a menu with all the categories and as sub-items the tags or taxonomies (tried both).
What is the best way to set this up and so it’s the best for the readers to find a blog or post in the category + city they like.
Thanks all for the help!
