Category widget not working

  I have added a category widget and when I click on the category on the drop-down menu, it leads to a blank screen. Am I missing something that I need to do? Thank you

  Hi,

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.

  Thank you for your assistance. Sometimes I get mixed up with the .com and the .org when I come off an internet search. I will check out the support for .org and go from there. Thanks again.
