Category Widgets

  I would like to make a CATEGORY widget that only displays a certain Category of posts depending on the category name. For example, hypothetically I have 2 categories, gaming and films. I want to have one seperate Category widget that only shows Gaming in its drop down menu and the same effect for Film. I played around but I noticed that regardless of the category Title, the seperate widgets show all the categories. Is there a way to customize the widgets to only show the categories I want it to show so I can have mutliple category widgets for multiple different categories so it is easier to navigate and find articles on my blog? Thanks for your help.

  I’m sorry, that’s not possible at WordPress.com. There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.
