Category with description on page

  Is it too late for me to add a category to a page, so I can add a description at top of page? This is the pages I would like to add them to.

  Pages are not Posts http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and static Pages cannot have categories assigned to them. Only posts can have categories assigned to them.
