Cathegory in the Main menu in "Suits Theme"

  Hi!

  I am trying to set a BLOG in my website, and for that I have create a cathegory called BLOG and added the posts there.

  I put the cathegory in the menu settings, however it does not display.
  I created a page called BLOG and then colocated the cathegory inside and it does not display.

  I wonder if the theme does not allow to have Cathegories in the menu.

  In other themes like Oxygen I do it without problem.
  I hope I was clear…

  Hi akundanza,

  I believe the problem is that you haven’t created a new menu and assigned it to the location for this theme.

  It appears that by default this theme will display pages you publish in the menu.

  However if you go under Appearance then Menus and create a new menu. You can then add any pages you like, plus the category.

  Once you’ve saved the menu you will need to go under Manage Locations and assign the menu you just created to the Navigation Menu theme location.

  Does that make sense? If that doesn’t work or you have any other questions please let me know.

  Hi there – while you’ve set up a custom menu, you still need to assign it to the theme (as Sandy mentioned above) by checking off Navigation Menu under the menu, and then saving your changes.

  You’ll also need to make a couple of other tweaks – here’s a screenshot showing what you need to do:

  

  I did notice that you have posts in categories other than Blog – did you want those to show up somewhere on your site? They won’t be displayed anywhere the way you want things set up, since you only have a page for posts in the Blog category.

  Normally, to set up a blog that’s not on the homepage you would create a blank page called Blog, and then select it as the posts page under Settings > Reading, as you see here:
