Catholic Church – Third Party Theme

    Hello WordPress —

    Volunteer parishioner at a Catholic Church in Manhattan. We’re looking to upgrade our currently outdated website: sfdsnyc.org and found a Third Party Premium theme that will work perfectly for us: http://webnus.biz/themes/vision/discovery

    We’re on a tight budget and I just discovered to upload this theme, I believe we must purchase the $25/mo “Business” theme to do so. Given our tight budget and all the unnecessary tools in the Business plan — does WordPress work with non-profits in any way to help them financially? We’d preferably want a basic plan $4 or $8/mo but with the ability to upload the Third Party theme.

    Any help/suggestions out there? Many thanks.

    Third party themes can only be used here with the Business plan (which, as with all upgraded plans is paid for annually in advance, not monthly). If cost is an issue and you require monthly payments perhaps before you get too far with your new WordPress.com site you should at least consider being hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
